Here comes the problem:
Trying to program a new tcm on a 2019 tahoe and keep getting this message. Does techline connect still work with Autel j2534? Here Autel maxiflash pro j2534 is used.
Here is the solution.
Techline Connect/SPS2 did an update that requires new drivers that have not been figured out yet.
The older grey box does not work anymore without a driver update that still is in the works.
The newer JVCI/JVCI+ box from Autel IM608 series will work.
Update both techline and Autel Maxiflash firmware to get it to work.
Make sure the J2534 drivers are updated and it is connected correctly to the vehicle. Update Maxi PC Suite to v1.45.
Also make sure Java is up to date. Just ran into this yesterday programming a HMI on a 14 Tahoe . Updated Java and it worked perfectly.
If you encounter E6961 at the beginning of programming, start the process over without cycling the key.
